🤔
What if the person seeking doctor-assisted euthanasia is a fully consenting, compos mentis adult with an extremely painful and/or debilitating incurable terminal illness, has reflected deeply on the matter for months or years, and still wishes to go through with it, though?
What if it's your beloved dog or cat that's suffering? Does that change anything? We already do that and few people seem to mind, and animals can't give clear consent (that we know of). Are vets also complicit in a crime when they put down your pet? Just curious.
