Why do you say "facts don't care about your feelings"? Facts are facts. They don't have likes or dislikes or preferences. They are incapable of caring. They are also incapable of making choices of any kind. What you should say is "Facts can't care about your feelings". Can't means you're incapable of doing something, don't means you're choosing not to do something.

I found this so idk the reason for this wording but it's likely referring to the facts that the people are presenting so the people presenting them aren't hateful bigots but are just presenting facts that can't care. It's likely trying to make the point about the people in together with it with such wording. That'd be my guess. That nuanced wording subtly places the people presenting the facts into it as well in defense of them as well as the facts that show that what they're believing is crap.🤷‍♂️🤔😊
