Probably right, but the effect will be seen during the midterms. The old push problems off for later Republicans don't seem to understand how anger over the same ol same ol politics rocketed President Trump back into office. My social circle agrees with me this is the nation's last chance to make real and permanent changes. If they blow it, elections will no longer matter, and most people will not even bother with them.
