twitter had a serious bot problem a few years ago
ppl would get bots verified on twitter in droves and then try to paint narratives or smear opponents or defend themselves using verified bots

i barely even see those anymore
bc nobody is gonna waste $8000 per month on putting 1000 bots on twitter now
