I know what that feels like.
I am right now using Zorin OS; i would use a different distro but none of them wanted to actually work for me.

Linux mint decided to have a fit
proton rendering said "f**k off" firstly
secondly my drivers were off the charts bad so Sober (Vinegar pair) wasnt working

Peppermint OS couldn't install the bootloader.
Mint only booted one time and never again.
Debian worked okay but it wouldn't let me execute sudo commands.
NyArch would get stuck loading on the installation media.
Ubuntu froze while installing and was really slow.
Lubuntu wouldn't even download.

for now. that laptop. is running. um. Windows 10 Pro 21H1

not 22H2. 21.H1

My junk laptop has Zorin OS.
My decent laptop has Windows 11 preinstalled on it.
