I once had enough of my cats fighting (actually fighting, not just playing) and, not really thinking straight, I stomped my foot. Unfortuantely, my foot, rather than hitting the floor, went straight into an upright extension cord.

There was a lot of pain. And bleeding. And difficulty walking afterward. On the bright side, though, my loud scream of pain proved quite effective at making them stop.

Poor thing...; At least the cats stopped fighting. But at what cost?
