Hex being a threat to your oc is... shocking. Hex is barely a threat to Mask or Masque. He's only a threat to (painted) fish. Mr. Fish (human with fish head) could also deal with Hex, but Plague... not so much... although he would turn his corpse into a zombie-like being.

my OCs attacks are mainly slow AOE attacks.
saving and reloading can instantly remove that threat.
and because I don't have temporary immortality in the fight, I might be cooked if I go against hex
