Well, the newest memes can be viewed by changing a stream's sorting option from "Hot" to "New". Also, memes getting sent to the Backrooms seems a little extreme, but I love the lore!

but after a while they get "unfeatured" as far as i am aware of. they don't ever show up in the stream again from my experience
