It's most likely that he did, yeah. On Sunday morning, Fox Buzz was giving him a lot of negative coverage. He was at Mara Lago. About half way through that Fox show is when the local PBS affliate started Escape from Alcatraz. Towards the end of the movie, is when Trump starts posting on Truth Social various clips trying to refute the negative coverage from the Fox show. Then he starts posting negative comments about the Fox host of that morning show.

It's after he's traveled back to Washington that he makes his announcement about Alcatraz and puts the tariffs on any movie made outside the US.

He decided to open up Alcatraz because he saw a Clint Eastwood movie and was mad at a journalist.
