extreme maga doesn't represent the entirety of trump's powerbase, and legacy news outlets did have an inherent left-wing bias, so there has to be something done to cut down on that bias, hopefully nothing too extreme

we need to wait and see if trump keeps to his promises(inevitably there are going to be some he will forget, as is the case with any politician), but he is learning from his mistakes

How do you know that a majority of legacy media outlets have a left-wing bias? This seems like something you might hear on Fox News. Or do you mean that legacy media says things like "Climate change is real" and "LBGTQ+ people are real and have feelings," and those seem to be evidence of a left-wing bias to you?

I agree with liberal views of climate change and LGBTQ+, but it seems that legacy media platforms, even those that are supposed to be moderate and unbiased, have given more preference to anti-Trump and far-left stances in the recent years. When they do agree with something Trump does or the words of a conservative guest speaker, it is a rare phenomenon.

You didn't think about the possibility that it's a rare phenomenon because Trump is so often lying and/or utterly misinformed?

there could be a multitude of reasons, such as the assumption trump didn't learn from his first term mistakes or seeing the short-term setbacks of his policies as too destructive compared to long-term benefits, if they do exist

with this country existing for nearly 250 years, there has been evidence of how different parties' viewpoints and actions affect us, both positively and negatively. if you're an explicitly left-leaning outlet then it's ok to use evidence that backs your views more, but if you claim to be unbiased, you have to look at both sides and weigh them properly
