that's the thing though. her music is REALLY cookie-cutter and it's kind of hard to find one that doesn't exactly fall into that trap.
really the only one I can think of off the top of my head that I know is "epiphany"; i got to sing an A Capella arrangement of it last year for my school's audition-level choir because it was near Memorial Day (iirc) and it generally pertained to the experiences of both first responders and actual veterans (as it would seem, WWII vets; the song mentioned beaches so probably the Normandy invasion).
Other than that, yeah. Her songs aren't absolutely atrocious to listen to but I do have a LOT of criticism for her generally as a person and for her fans too.
Taylor is not the greatest musician ever, folks. I have a feeling the general public would assign that title to someone like Freddie Mercury.
