HEY, TEACHER! LEAVE THEM KIDS ALONE! | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
That reminds me when my 6th grade classmate went through the hall singing Pink Floyd's sing lyrics, "Hey, Teacher! Leave them kids alone" while everyone was sitting at their desks. The room was silent as we stared wide eyed at the teacher...he didn't run but he sure went after the kid!

Apparently he “didn’t need no education, thought control, or dark sarcasm in the classroom” either.

That was during their post-hippy era. 🥸😎🤓🧐

That's funny...I didn't think there was a post hippy era for Pink Floyd fans 😅

I’ve never been a hippy (by any stretch of the imagination), but I’ve been a PF fan for a fairly long time. I like their particular brand of prog rock and “space rock”. 😎

Lol! That's what all Pink Floyd fans say..."nuh, uh. I don't smoke when listening. You're thinking of my uncle."

Lol! Seriously? Every person I knew...they claimed it made the music sound better.

Well, honestly, I don’t know anything about that. To me, it’s always sounded pretty good without any of the extra “medicinal enhancement”. I’ve never experienced it the other way. If I did I wouldn’t have any problem owning up to it.

I apologize if I sounded hostile. I only meant that I’ve never taken illegal drugs of any kind. I’ve only taken over the counter and prescription meds. I just like the music.

I didn't think you sounded hostile. And I was probably over teasing. I didn't start to enjoy Pink Floyd until I saw a candle reflecting on the ceiling...it was flickering to the same rhythm as the beats on Wish You Were Here. Because I "see" music, I was completely fascinated. I can understand why people went to Pink Floyd laser shows.

I have much I could say.
