reminds me of my self insert michael. the only thing i really kept constant with him over the four years i had him was him being a humanoid with fox ears and tail. his original outfit was an oversized green sweater with red cuffs/collar/hem, jeans (iirc), and brown leather boots with that fleece stuff on the inside. these days i tend to just draw him in a regular hoodie, kept the baggy pants, and changed the boots out for grey and white sneakers.

anyway, love the drawing. right-hand side drawing almost gives me fortune-teller vibes that are really fun :)

funnily enough michael used to be a scrapped character called Bolt who had cat ears and tail instead of fox ears n tail. my self insert (who i do use in a massive-scale crossover fic, believe it or not) used to be a catboy.

i cringe a little thinking of that now but considering that both of them were written to be emo cinnamon rolls i think it went fine
