Exactly. By reciting a rule already covered in site TOS, you are adding a level of strictness to it that allows mods to ban people by their own discretion for sharing their opinion. You cant get TOS banned for criticizing a therian then. You can now. I'm a furry, i dont care about anti furries. I ignore them. I ignore politics posters. that doesnt mean they need to be shut down and banned because they dont like them. The site mods didnt do much to the stream and kept it sort of lax, in comparison to users. The new rule only makes me angry and want to say something bad about therians for instance, because now im not allowed to

even worse is that this rule can be enforced very arbitrarily. using terms like "therianphobia" is not very specific.
that word suggests a disagreement with therianism(which isn't allowed to be voiced now) but it's so unspecific that a user potentially could be banned for simply criticizing a therian at all.
"Islamphobia" is mentioned but there's nothing about "christianphobia" or anything like that(there isn't even an "etc" at the end. although I don't think there should be).

Rules are created out of necessity, not the owners preference. Nobody has said furries are zoophiles on msmg in a long time. Its not an issue and simply doesnt need a large rule. Spire has been inactive for a long time and doesnt understand msmg is more tame than it was back in the day
