The electromagnetic net gun

An arm-mounted weapon developed alongside the Hermes-03 stealth mech model, it fires a medium net designed to tangle around part of the opponent's body and disable it using built in electromagnets to interfere with more complex electronics.

If it's tangled around a mech's leg it can still walk with some difficulty

Hands, thrusters, ranged weapons, and visual sensors in the head are rendered completely non-functional when the net is tangled around them

When tangled around the torso then entire mech shuts down

Yes I tried to write this like it's part of some in-universe weapon presentation
