I see what’s happening here

First way I see this happening is faking it.

Build a small fake nether in the overworld, put in some water, then add a repeating command block to constantly spam a lava source block in that one spot so it doesn't become obsidian

actually no i have no idea how command blocks work are they some sort of spawning system or something? i mean i know they exist in creative but i just use them for design patterns
