Our government is literally designed to screw the people over financially, and if you try to fix that, I would imagine they wouldn't take that well

If you made them mad, they'd probably get everything in their power to smear you
They probably threaten people you care about if you are about to expose them

As soon as Trump announced he intended to release the epstein and Diddy lists, a slew of billionaires and the whole music industry suddenly started campaigning for Harris (even if just months ago theyd complained about the Biden harris administration, or said telling people who to vote for was not their job)
Theres a lot of money that doesn't want those released

It might even have had something to do with both Trump and Musk each having 2 attempts on their lives in 2024

I don't think politics is an easy game to play
You try to be for the people, and the powerful won't like it and will try to convince the people you hate them.
So there's no way you know who or what to trust

Thats why Twitter was so good, bc 100% of independent journalism can't be bought (some can but you can't buy all of it)

That's why I started paying attention to politics and trying to convince people to support free speech

Bc idc how many "good intentions" you may have trying to eliminate certain types of speech from the public, the truth is that that's far too much power for a few people to have
The first people could have good intentions, but all the evil people would beeline for that job
Then they could do shady stuff and just use censorship to make sure no one finds out about it
We literally saw people do that in 2020

But we could end up in a place like North Korea, where in 80 years they went from a predominantly Christian place to a miserable communist utopia where they believe everyone else is more miserable than them, while they're behind in technology by 80 years and don't know what other countries are living like

Nobody should have control over speech, bc that begs the question: who determines what speech should be allowed and what should be silenced? Thats not just being a king or a dictator over the people; that's man playing God.
And America was founded on the idea of "no more kings" bc depending on whether a king is evil or good, the peoples lives change drastically. And it's the same in this situation.
