The Divine Immortal Prologue and Chapter 1: Prologue & Escape From Hell

PROLOGUE

An old man rests at a corroded shrine. He slowly approaches a shattered piece of glass and sees his reflection. He reflection resembles that of used papyrus. The man walks to the foyer of the shrine and grabs the picture with a decaying wooden frame.

“I miss you…….my long-gone family” the old man says as he sits on a decaying chair

The old man puts his hands together in prayer, he feels a dust of wind, and comes to terms that his time has come.

“After all this time he has been sealed away……he must be weakened by now” the old man struggles

[CHAPTER 1] — ESCAPE FROM HELL
Meanwhile on a dwarf planet on the outer area of the multiverse, a 9.15 meter (30 foot) icosahedron started to crack. Xorus, who has been sitting on a un-eroded boulder, heard the cracks. He got up and saw a large fist punch through the shattering polygon. Xorus grabbed his scythe and walked toward the cracking shape. Xorus saw a tall figure exit the icosahedron.

“I’m home, I’ve finally returned!” The large figure said

“Return to your geometric prison right now!” Xorus shouted

“I would rather not return to that unlawful imprisonment” The figure said

“Then you have left me with no other option than to execute you!” Xorus tells

Xorus ran at the figure and swings their scythe at the figure. The figure effortlessly dodges the attacks, Xorus swings the scythe down at the figure, and the figure quickly catches the handle of the scythe. The figure throws the scythe out of Xorus’s hand and the scythe gets it’s blade stuck into a distant boulder. Xorus steps back a bit and the figure laughs.

“HAH, I’m victorious!” The figure laughed

Suddenly the figure was hit by Xorus in the face. The figure stepped back and saw that Xorus was still in the fight. The figure chuckled and got into position. Xorus started to approach the figure and the figure threw a right punch at Xorus. Xorus easily blocked the punch with his big gauntlets, Xorus throws a straight punch at the figure, the figure redirects the punch, and kicked Xorus in the chest. The kick did nothing to Xorus and the figure hit Xorus with a spinning kick. The spinning kick did nothing to Xorus as well and Xorus punches the figure in the nose. The figure’s nose starts to bleed. The figure suddenly saw that Xorus was constantly shifting his balance before striking.

“All your experience is nothing when compared to a god!” Xorus boasted

“As strong as he is, I have no doubt he would never know his weak spots” The figure thought to themselves, “Finally I am capable of fighting again”

After some more time to think, the tiniest smirk appeared on the figure’s face. The figure steps back into the fight, the figure promptly faints a punch down the middle, and Xorus foolishly takes the bait. The figure alternatively sidesteps and the figure drops Xorus to the ground. The figure detains Xorus to the ground with one hand while popping Xorus’s articulation with another hand. Xorus soon kicks the figure off of him and he gets up. Xorus briefly wobbles as he stands.

Having predicaments, my lord?” The figure said

“Minions of the underworld to my aid!” Xorus yelled

Xorus would retreat into a hellish portal. Xorus Limps back to his desk, he sees an old man at the judgement room center.

“You’re six million years late!” Xorus said to the old man

“If I had died six million years earlier, he would have escaped” The old man said

“Curse you mortals!” Xorus said

“Speaking of, that guy, I assume you have failed to stop him?” The old man said

“We do not speak of Immortals here” Xorus yelled, “He is a relic of the past with no knowledge of the future!”

Meanwhile at the surface, The figure was walking around a desolate city. The buildings were crumbled but not claimed by nature. The figure walked past a church, the church’s religious artifact was gone and the building was barren. The figure walked out of the building to see strange vehicles with a logo on it.

“Tinted Earth: we don’t refine oil, we perfect it”

“What on Nammu is that?” The figure said in confusion

The figure moved on but they had kept the logo piece. The figure walked toward a building, an decayed old hut, the figure walked inside the hut, and saw an armor stand with old rusted armor beyond repair.

“Is that – my old armor?” The figure said

The figure kept walking through the hut and checked all the storage areas. All the figure found was the bones of dead animals who broke into the hut. The figure walked outside the hut and after an hour of walking had found a deep hole.

“That’s… 14060 Cubins deep, how prodigious!” The figure said intrigued

The figure nods to themselves and then jumps down into the massive hole. The figure lands in the lowest area of the hole and their legs shatter upon the impact. Within a minute, the legs regenerate back into perfect condition. The figure continues walking through the center of the hole as the figure grabs a bright circular object and looks through the dark hole. The figure suddenly sees a huge, rust free-ish structure emerging from the darkness.

“What in the-“ The figure said confused

The figure walked to the side of the structure and saw lettering on the structure’s side.

“Corrival-28” The figure read out loud

The figure suddenly heard the sound of something slam on the ground. The figure walks
over to where the sound came from and saw a bridge lowered. The figure pointed their
cylindrical bright object at the dark area revealing a room.

“What is all of this… this foreign world of objects unknown to the Nammuian eye” The
figure said

The figure walked into the area and saw an item on the other sides of the room. The figure saw the item and walked to it. It was a stone, a shiny stone. The figure walked toward the stone and felt immense amounts of cosmic energy. The figure also sees a gauntlet next to the stone, the figure grabs the gauntlet, and dawns the gauntlet. The figure then hears a voice call out to him.

‘Approach me, immortal – for we have a divine quest, Xerxes’

Xerxes pauses to look around the ship for others who dare speak his name. He does not see a soul in the interior of the ship.

‘Gather the rest of my kin and fulfill my duty, we can unite this multiverse, Xerxes’

Xerxes puts the stone into the gauntlet instinctively, without a second thought, and feels an immense amount of cosmic energy flow through him. Xerxes closed his right hand into a fist and creates a rip in space and warps through.
