guinea pigs are a tameable mob found in the extreme hills biome. you can feed them wheat, dandelions, or any kind of fruit or vegetable. they will make your crops grow faster and will lead you through a safe route to any kind of ore you show them.
creeperlings are smaller, younger creepers that will not attack you. they are also tameable; to do so, simply follow one around so it knows you are not a threat. you can heal it/make it grow faster with any kind of food. when they are tamed, they will attack enemies for you but not explode; you have defused that mechanism... anyway a creeperling is a very rare find.
obsidian golems are made via placing a carved pumpkin upon 4 obsidian blocks arranged in a t-shape. unlike iron golems, obsidian golems can shoots projectiles. they are particularly protective of nether portals. you can use this to your advantage.
