I was pleasantly surprised that everywhere I went people were glad to see an American. President Trump has given hope to people everywhere. Normally when I travel, I expect the worst but all I saw was smiles, shops open everywhere, some questionable food and old-fashioned customer service.

I was shocked, and pleased. I don't travel as an American, the military or team t-shirts, hats, shorts with sandals and taking a selfie every few seconds is not how I roll. They still know, we are taller, better built and walk with confidence. watching kids flex as I walked by was fun. If I had been a tourist, I think it might have been slightly different but not much, the world does seem happy now.
