It's weird seeing white liberals pretend that the constitutional crisis of the Trump administration is unprecedented. Andrew Jackson wanted to take Native land where gold was discovered. This led to the
1832 case Worcester v. Georgia, which reached the supreme court. Chief Justice John Marshall read the decision which told the president that he
couldn't do that. Jackson's response: "John Marshall
has made his decision, now let him enforce it."
