As a kid we had block party firework displays that today are reserved for stadiums. But I take my metaphorically figurative insights from wherever. I so loved that Katy Perry song at the time. Just like I love early Madonna. And before that seventies pop rock. It's not that Journey is not also brilliant. It's just why do they feel the need to keep reinventing the sledgehammer. Maybe that is the question I am asking you. Can you not be thrilled by all politics? The more I let country, and rap and world music without lyrics into my parochial taste of almost exclusively guitar-riffed listening habits? So much more did I get out of it and find what I truly enjoyed!

Showing that each person's musical taste is their own. Rap is not my favorite, but I do like NWA and a couple others. But you are right falling into your own musical space is best.

In music I am not that person. I like many genres of music, and never say I dislike or dismiss anything until after I've heard it.
