What if I dumped water on the mech

On the outside it'd be fine since mechs are generally meant to be all purpose (so it's waterproof) but if you dumped it in the cockpit you'd probably end up with several broken bones.

Not from the mech, from the pilot.

Also the mech would be rendered inoperable for a day. Since hers is currently one of the strongest resistance mechs repairing it is considered high priority

If it were a grunt unit it could sit broken for multiple days since there are tons of them

some advice, draw a cube in perspective, then draw whatever INSIDE the cube. thats how i usually do it
