Instead of having a USER-RUN stream which has the power to ban people as it sees fit, we’ve created a system where we harass users we hate in order to get them to say racial slurs so we finally have an excuse to ban them. Is that what we want? Giving mods the power to ban would make all of this go away.

To be fair, mod abuse would still happen. That’s always going to be there.

This is what i've been saying for two years. The way site mods are running the stream is a recipe for disaster and there's been so much more drama since they took over (In june 2023 I believe).

mods are also too afraid to speak out about this EXACT issue out of fear the owners will punish them for that too
