As far as I know it was only for one show or something like that.
He’s also done Swamp People, Swamp,People: serpent invasion, Race around the World or something like that. It’s his job.

He got his start doing work experience holding the camera cables around for football cameramen. Then graduated to cameraman. Then did news stuff. I think that now they get a lot of footage sent in by people recording in their phones.
I do know that the surf film industry is pretty much dead as a result of everyone having phones and go pros. It’s all online and filmed by amateurs now.

Can he film more than just surfing

I don’t know if he ever did surfing. That’s just what I’ve heard from others. He did, however, get paid to ski backwards (he filmed snow reports, skiing backwards to film the presenter as she skied forward).

Getting to do lots of different stuff like that must be cool lol

He loves his work, but is away for weeks at a time. He also has to follow embargoes on new productions. He can’t share until just before release, or the highlights are released for promotion. He basically doesn’t say what he’s filming until after he’s given the go ahead to, just things like “I’m going on a ship to the Arctic circle with scientists”.
