Nintendo makes good games, but the company itself is awful

In Nintendo's defense (I was raised on the N64), a bunch of big names are releasing this year. Activision's probably gonna release another Call of Duty (or drop an update bomb on Black Ops VI or smth idk), Rockstar plans on releasing GTA VI, and Microsoft is bragging about creating a new state of matter. Nintendo, meanwhile, created open-world MarioKart, and for as many MarioKart fans there are, at least a fraction of them aren't on board with that, and there's a billion more people who would rather buy Call of Duty or GTA than Nintendo games.

The point I'm getting at here is that Nintendo's trying its best. You don't drop something as big as the Switch 2 without losing a f**kton of cash for marketing, manufacturing, and creating the games. So, they gotta make it back. This isn't the United States defense budget we're talking about here - it's not like they're made out of money. Rockstar has been floating on GTA V for years now, and Activision is preying on the fact that the opinions of people online aren't an accurate representation of popularity with Black Ops VI and a few others. Nintendo is being pushed into the background. So of course they need a shitload of money to stay afloat, especially with how much they're spending on the Switch 2.

TL;DR (I'm hoping you at least skimmed my rant but still): Nintendo is trying to cause a stir-up so they can actually sell stuff this year. They're spending s lot of money, and they need to make it back.

(Also the "I was raised on the N64" part was to lend explanation to why I'm defending Nintendo here when literally the only other comment is on your side and this is a valid reason to be frustrated)

No, I will not. I will defend Nintendo until they actually do something worth condemnation.

So you see my point? (That being that Nintendo doesn't deserve to be eviscerated as it has been for something as trivial as game pricing)
