Belief is irrelevant.
I prefer factual numbers anyways.
Although I must admit, I am a tad inclined to believe a couple of Palestinians I met once (father and daughter), selling Christmas tree ornaments carved out of olive tree wood at an Italian feast (St Anthony's) at Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. Later saw them at a feast (St Teresa's) in Pelham Bay also.
Yes, they were Christians. And Palestinian. And they lived in Bethlehem. I don't recall them complaining about anything other than Israel which they had left for obvious reasons.
They had lived in the Christian sector, but no matter, it was still lights out at dusk, and water too. This is well over a decade ago. This was not during some sort of civil strife, or internal strife, or any strife whatsoever - other than that the usual provided by the invaders. This was regular everyday living. Electricity off. Water off. Every night. Till morning. Simply to harass the population.
This was before Netanyahu created Hamas. Maybe things are different now. Maybe their butchers aren't so nice. I don't know. But as you can see from the numbers, well, I reckon there's only so many butchers in town to do butchering so someone else has to make up for the slack, aye?
