Former US Special Operations solder Joe Kent, who currently serves as the Director of the National Counter Terrorism Center, sat for a confirmation hearing before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
During his testimony on Thursday leftist Senator Mark Kelly asked Kent about Signal group non-scandal and his prior comments on the FBI’s involvement in the January 6 protests and riot.
Kent did not spend any time on the Signal non-scandal – apparently everyone uses Signal including Democrats and have used the app for several years.
Kent also did not retract any of his earlier comments on the FBI’s involvement in January 6. In fact, Kent doubled down.
