I once tried to mod my Switch once, but I was having trouble with it. I even tired to find out if my Switch is patched, but it didn't say anything. I tried and tried, but nothing happened. So I gave up. I guess I'm lucky I gave up, because if I didn't, Nintendo could've came after me. SO DON'T DOWNLOAD MODS ON YOUR SWITCH!!! THIS IS A WARNING!!!
