In that case, maybe then it might be enough to power everything. Lightbulbs, calculators, radios, computers, TV screens and hairdryers would not be much of an issue. But what about air conditioners, furnaces, refrigerators and freezers?
The show didn't go into all the detail. It was more focused on the drama of the central character, who was trying to earn a bazillion credits for this girl to get a shot at being some kind of celeb or influencer. The big takeaway was that this guy exists just to "Peletron" his life away to earn credits for these app like things that are on these screens that cover his cubicle/dorm/cell room. A life lived totally on line and digital, like the Metaverse. No one goes outside to touch grass.
