As someone with a little experience on the Regulation G scene, I wish Lugia was better by the standards of modern legendaries; poor fella just gets completely outclassed despite being an INCREDIBLY COOL legendary.
Johto may have some stinkers, sure. But Lugia is frickin' awesome and imo should have a significant buff in Gen 10 Pokémon when that finally rolls around. What with its fellow oldies like Dialga and Kyogre being really damn good if you know how to use them in VGC (especially the former).
If you don't play VGC, disregard this then. Go nuts and have fun with your Lugia, I say - cause Lugia is damn cool. :)
