The Minecraft movie may have not been peak, sure. But you cant say that it wasn’t good. Of course, there were many non-canon things in the movie. That just added to the uniqueness of the movie, and made it so it just didn’t seem like a live-action average Minecraft run. The movie leaves lots of room for a sequel with the post-credit scene, and many people who see it, whether they’ve played the game for their whole lives or they’ve never heard of the game at all, find it high quality and interesting.
