Keep in mind that there is gravity on Earth, however, as well as air resistance. Additionally, since you didn’t specify to ignore air resistance, we’d need the rock’s size in volume and surface area as well as its mass. Also, what of wind speed and direction? Where on Earth did you hit the rock? The distance from the Earth to the moon varies depending on where you are. Rotational inertia would also need to be accounted for. How far is it until you no longer need to account for gravity because the rock has left the atmosphere?

What exactly is the answer you’re looking for given these parameters that would need to be defined?

let's say you are at sea level (0 meters above). I'll give you some more time to figure it out. The answer should be in Newton, as we are looking for force. I didn't yet figure out the answer. i hoped someone would do it for me...

What is the angle of impact? Again, where specifically are we in relation to the moon? Is wind speed negligible? Or air resistance?
