I consider myself a bit of a musician myself, although I mainly work in Chrome Music Lab. Recently, I did start messing around with Logic Pro to recreate a LoZ song and Undertale (OST 71). I'm going to be making my own remixes and mashups of songs in the future.
Also, I love the ending.

Update on progress. No, I haven't been doing this for the past 8 hours, I kept going until about 1 in the morning and then went to sleep, I just did the finishing touches now. I did try giving the monochrome version some kind of blush, but it doesn't look too good like that.
