well anyway he was a zoophile who claimed that his stepdad abused him and that his brother killed himself in front of him and all sorts of garbage. im glad he dipped, but im finding it hard to forgive him

I do know people irl that have experienced those things. Some were so traumatized, their brokenness showed itself in anger at the world and many people in it. I have experienced traumatic events that left me angry, mostly at the cause, but occasionally at others that have hurt me. It has been said that hating another is like drinking poison and waiting for that person to die. It had a negative effect on me, both mentally and physically. I would urge you to forgive this person and any other, especially if he doesn't deserve it. I keep in mind that Jesus died to forgive me long before I said, "I'm sorry". I truly did nothing to deserve forgiveness, but He did it anyway.

We live in a broken world, filled with those who lie, cheat, steal, murder, and all manner of evil. I have fallen short of the glory of God. None of us deserve the grace offered by and through Jesus. We are not worthy of the forgiveness offered for breaking His laws. In Luke, we are shown: "forgive and you will be forgiven". The parable of the ruler that forgave a great debt of a man who, after his debt was forgiven, demanded another man pay a debt that was owed. We know this did not end well. A part of being like Him will, I believe eventually, enable us to see our neighbors even in people we don't agree with. Remember that Stephen, the martyr, forgave the people that were killing him. It is up to you, but I believe that when you can forgive people that have wronged you, it will help you. Remember, this issue isn't hurting the person that wronged you. I wouldn't trust them to behave better, but this is about your well being, not theirs.

Stage 4 colon cancer and they believe it may have now moved into my liver. No 👎 idea if it is anywhere else and am not worried if it has or hasn't. I am completely on God's timeline and in His hands on this.

Death. Jesus defeated it. Those of us that have placed our faith in Him will change our address to a far better place. Cancer cannot win. Either I am healed from it or I leave it behind when I leave the tent that currently holds my soul. Everything will, indeed, be all right.
