Huh... Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said they won't negotiate with Trump over his tariff plans until Canada is "shown respect" as a sovereign nation. That's a brilliant political optics move... ...if Trump drops the "51st state," "governor X" schtick, he'll expose himself as weak and manipulable but if he doubles down it shows he's more interested in petty ego games than finding a resolution. And regardless which path he takes he comes out the loser.
