This image is comprised of Shah the rapper with his pet alligator, named Bernie Sanders, on the cover of Don't Do It Mandela, one of Shah's first songs in 2017 and Doechii the singer's eerily similar coverart from 2024. The only difference was Doechii used an albino alligator, which led to the caption "When Rhe Photocopier Runs Out Of Ink" mocking the colorless alligator in Doechii's photo being the only difference of note.
The trend began on last.fm after users post Shah's original coverart onto Doechii's profile, where it was upvoted and replaced Doechii's own profile picture as is protocol on last.fm

One last.fm user stated their image of Shah was reported and removed due to being posted on Doechii's account but lacking Doechii's image, leading to the current side by side version.

I've seen these albino alligators in person at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia and at the Newport Aquarium in Newport, Kentucky (it's close to Cincinnati, Ohio).

They are very rare, but they're very sensitive to ultraviolet light, so they have to live in aquariums for their own protection to be shielded from the ultraviolet light of the sun.
