Elend Lakan from House Lakan
Age: 24
Elend is the son of Count Lakan and heir to the Lakan household. The Lakan family have a strong foothold on their world. He's love philosophy and ethics and often spend his time in the library at the Lakan house.

He's sleeping on a pile of books in the library; it was pretty natural to find him like this.

*his father walks over to him, shaking him awake, and telling him about the prophecy thing*

"Marriage? Isn't this a bit early? Why me of all people?" I ask

"Because you're the next generation, the 6th generation since the last time one was married. The girls are in the living room with your mother."

"Why do we even hunt dragons if we wed with them?" I ask.

It's only to keep their populations table so they don't go to war with humanity. It was a pact made thousands of generations ago.

"That was thousands of years ago!" I protest. "The times are not the same, why do we still do these traditions? Father, don't you think it's time for a change?"

Last time they attempted change, war broke out.

"Your father, my grandfather, even hunted dragons for a living. We can't expect them to change, when we can't correct our own follies. We must take the first step. T-this truce is barely working, and you already see the delicate balance going on."

I sighed and snagged a book from a nearby desk and shoved it into my suit pocket. Then I follow my father to the living room.

Chet: well, I'm pretty sure you can take any amount of time choosing. Hell, i've heard that one generation married all three of the options.

I look at him with disgust. "It's just," I sigh. "Why do we hunt dragons if we marry some on them? That just doesn't make sense."

Its too keep some kind of balance. it was an agreement decided a couple centuries ago.

*the girls are on the couch*

I enter the room and bow before the princesses.

*the older one bows back*

"Princesses," I say kissing the knuckles of their hands before going back to standing by my father

*they introduce themselves. The one with four horns is Xue, the black hared one Adena, and the blue horned one Minato*

"Princesses," I bow

*Xue bows her head*

I stand there silently (Wait, I have to marry one of them?)

I look to my father to see what I should do

*he motions for him to go on*

I sit down on a nearby chair, pull out my book from my suit, and start reading, ignoring everything going one.

*they're stunned, but Xue doesn't even mind. Infact she leans over to see what he's reading*

It's a book about ethics.

*reads with him*

After a while I close the book, and stand up to stretch. "It was nice meeting you." I bow to the princesses. Then I leave to go find solitude in the library.

*Xue eventually leaves*

The next day, I'm walking with my best friend Mancheto (who goes by Chet)

*she's in the Public library, reading at a table that's by the window. Her horns curve elegantly behind her*

We walk past a book shelf, "It's not that." I say Chet. "I mean I guess, they're nice, but it's just I don't think I'm ready for marriage."

*Alphie is snoring in bed, not even that excited for his birthday surprisingly. He doesn't really plan on getting up any time soon*

*He walks towards the door and exits the house, waiting for the three girls to follow him*

*she nods and introduces themselves*

*He takes a minute to think*

"Alright, I've made a decision."

*He really didn't listen to a damn thing his mom was talking about earlier and he just freshens up and gets dressed*

*she tells him again*
