Ok time for a bit of lore
Durant: Inspired by basketball player Kevin Durant
Gyarados: Japanese Kanji for “lucky”
Skeledirge: Perish Song is a move that goes along with Skeledirge’s motifs of skulls and singing
Kirlia: Male, so it’ll evolve into gallade, who according to the Pokédex is a guardian of weaker Pokémon
Gardevoir: Dungeons And Dragons reference, since it’s a shiny shadow Pokémon.
Persian: I got it traded to me by a friend, I don’t know his lore
Primeape: reference to My Hero Academia’s character Katsuki Bakugou, the fur matches Bakugou’s hair and the arms match his hero outfit’s gauntlets. Same temperament too.
Zorua and Zoroark: Loki (god of trickery), and Phantom because it sounds cool and looks good
Liepard: The Combat Power is equal to 183, so I took out the 100
Plusle: One of the four methods of problem solving in math. Basically just a turned plus sign
Beldum and Metagross: I named the Beldum Booyah because why not and I named the Metagross Stygian Iron as a Percy Jackson reference.
