Maybe when you’re joking around with your mom mention a guy and girl friend she knows, and say they’re cut (one at a time, start with the guy).
If it goes well she’ll either suggest setting them up or maybe subtly (or not so subtly) enquire about what you think makes each cute.
At worst she’ll never allow you to have them both at sleepovers

i personaly would ask your mother this "so recently my freind has recently come out as <insert what you are going to be coming out as> and they want to come out to their parents about it. what advice should i gve them? what should i tell them to say? and how can i tell them that they are going to be safe coming out?"
i feel like most people would overlook the fact that you could be coming out.
