Private schools and homeschoolers produce better results than public.schools. If the residents of a suburban community prefer private schools and homeschooling to public schools, the mayors/city managers/city councils should allow their residents to vote on abolishing the public school district. Should a community's public school district be abolished, they could spend more time and money on other things, such as adding materials to libraries, repairing roads and other infrastructure elements, and sprucing up parks and recreation centers. Or they could lower tax rates and encourage residents and businesses to move in.
