You still need to own a copy of Sonic Unleashed for this recompilation to work, however.
Idk if owning it digitally on the Xbox store counts as that, but I might try it out. It’d be great to have on a Steam Deck.
Hope this continues to happen for Saints Row, Crackdown, and Splinter Cell Double Agent.
