While you are correct, but what a lot of Pro Palestinians need to realize that the 2 state solution didn't start with Netanyahu, as it started with the first president of Israel, Chaim Weizmann, who supported the two state solution, and claimed that as long as their is a Jewish nation in this Earth, he didn't care who he shared it with.
