It is so stupid how if something violent happens they just make the screen dark.

There are two kinds of censoring like this.
One, the ok kind, sometimes makes the scene better (Censor the dog brutally dying and a megaphone bursting from its mangled body in JJBA Death 13 episode)
Two, why would you do that (he's just smoking, no one's gonna have a stroke from a guy smoking)

If they were to censor elfen lied, it would be unwatchable.

It is good but it could have been better if they didn't do certain things.
It gets pretty disgusting with violence and sexual assault, it even briefly shows it happen uncensored to a 13 year old girl.
(Btw i really like the art for the anime but the art for the manga is terrible)

For one thing that could possibly a really epic fight scene. But also minors.

Yeah it does get pretty f**ked up.
Most of the nudity isn't sexual at least.
It also has a little bit of incest, not too bad, just a cousin kissing scene but i understand that it would gross some people out.
(Tbh, nothing that is shown in anime disturbs me at all)

I have seen worse sh*t than cousins kissing. I watch a lot of anime rated mature because my dad is chill

Bro i have seen shit like aki sora and yosuga no sora.
That shows waaaay more than cousin kissing.
(My parents have zero idea of the things i have seen)

I've played every Danganronpa game. I've seen brutal, horrifying murders only magnified by censorship. I've read highly 18+ lines. I have suffered through two horrifyingly bad insect plots that aren't redeemable whatsoever. I no longer am bothered.
