Listen, Yankees fans, I get it. You’re loyal, but loyalty only gets you so far. It’s like holding onto that old flip phone; it was great back in the day, but now it just doesn't get the job done!
So, I leave the stadium last year and I turn to my mate and I say, “You know, seeing the Yankees play is a lot like watching a magic show. They keep disappearing when it matters! I’m just waiting for the ‘presto, I’m outta here’ act!”
And that is why there’s no team quite like the Yankees...because every year, they reinvent the “wait ’til next season” slogan like it’s an Olympic sport!
