How to make your kids hate you 101

Yes, this is an actual slide from the sermon I had at church today.

I actually do get what the pastor is saying when he talks about it in context, but I KNOW some parent is going to interpret this like they need to be more strict with their kids and make their lives miserable. And then they’ll wonder why their kids stopped going to church when they get older.

I think slides are a very underrated feature in sermons. Especially to show pictures or diagrams.

But more often than not, pastors just vomit a bunch of words onto the slide with no nuance and just read off it.

I'm agnostic, and I fw all religions as long as they ain't causing harm

Some of this is valid asf and just genuine good habits to have 🤷🏻‍♂️
