Telling someone contemplating suicide that is wild

I always hated people who try to compare their depression with others.

Experiences, sure, maybe you can help each other out, but this is not it

Those people are just like

“Oh you’re depressed huh, well I’m a depression+ subscriber!”

Or people who brag about being depressed longer
"You've been depressed for a few years now? Well I've been depressed for a decade get over it"

but does depression comes with time?
