Frost fields are genuinely cold, im not joking. Tempratures reach 2 degrees at max, and at its lowest, its a solid -43. (-45.40 F) Despite this, its pretty nice to often warm up to the various geysers scattered around. See it as a nice fireplace as you walk into your home after walking trough a blizzard. It is a nice stand-out from the usual Big white, the big void with debris that is in-between biomes. Do keep in mind though, at night some certain animals get active, and under them is said cryptid (Sketch lived trough, but now he just stays on the S.S Abby (more on that later!))
