*she takes the ear all the way off after carefully disconnecting a few wires that were intact*

Data: looks like your audio and sensory connections got messed up, so since there was still power it just kept repeating the last signal that was sent through. I imagine it hurt when this got damaged so that'd explain the pain

Zerobot: Oh...it hurts so bad...the signal was repeating

Zerobot: The audio connections might be fixed soon

*she gets out some wire*

Data: luckily I can see where the other end of the broken wires connect so it'll be pretty easy to replace, I'll also reinforce the earpiece once everything is fixed

Zerobot: All the wires are exposed...you can see what's inside of my metal head

Data: lots of interesting looking electronics, it's actually difficult to identify how old they are... Usually I can guess the age of robots I fix up based on the types of circuit boards and stuff like that

Zerobot: I'm 19 years old...

Data: oh ok, I guess whoever made you put in a lot of effort if they were willing to use parts I can't even recognize... they might even be fully custom

Zerobot: There's a box with my black and orange ears and theyre all new if my ears break i'll use them

Data: I didn't know you had replacements... Well, at least you won't be hurting now

Zerobot: It's fine if they don't know my replacement ears
