Universal and Disney have been fierce rivals since 1928, so I don't see them joining forces to make Donkey Kong.
Disney could have made a movie based on a video/computer game back in fhe 1990s. They were planning to make a live-action Carmen Sandiego movie with Sandra Bullock playing the lead role. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. I wish it had.
